Elmbrook Schools and EchoSpan Partner for LAUNCH
BROOKFIELD, Wisc. - Elmbrook Schools and EchoSpan have formed a partnership in support of LAUNCH, a program designed to connect student’s academic knowledge to real-world business problems and projects. Partnership with EchoSpan will ensure students in the program receive feedback on their business and emotional skills and development opportunities upon completion of the program. LAUNCH will offer students authentic ways to engage and be creative in providing value oriented solutions to our regional businesses. The program is structured in a way that will allow targeted interaction between students, teachers, business mentors and organizations within our community.
“LAUNCH is a unique program that will be pivotal in building young leaders across various industries and we are delighted to support this initiative of Elmbrook Schools,” said Joe Vance, President of EchoSpan. EchoSpan, an early supporter of LAUNCH, will provide the technology platform for students, teachers, and business mentors in the program to give feedback on the student’s project experience. “By partnering with EchoSpan we give our students, teachers and business investors a comprehensive, high-quality, and efficient tool that will support multiple sources of feedback on employability skills needed for our students to be ready for life after high school,” stated Dr. Bob Hall, Executive Director of LAUNCH.
LAUNCH will begin September 1, 2017 with a class of approximately 100 juniors and seniors from Brookfield Central and Brookfield East high schools. For additional information on the program, visit elmbrookschools.org/launch.
