A Few Quiet Updates We Think You'll Appreciate
EchoSpan Company Blog
We haven't announced many big, new features lately, but our development team has been busy making small updates that make EchoSpan a little easier to use every day. These aren't major changes, just thoughtful improvements based on how administrators, consultants, and participants actually work in the system.
Here's what's new:
Copy a Rater List: A new button lets you copy a participant's rater summary--names, relationships, and completion statuses--directly to your clipboard for quick sharing in an email or document.
Excluded Rater Group Handling: Reports now automatically gray out or hide relationship groups that don't apply, keeping visuals cleaner and results easier to read.
Upload Relationship Groups and Choices: The Item and Competency Uploader now supports importing relationship group definitions and multiple-choice answer options directly from Excel templates, saving setup time on building out larger projects.
SSO Auto-Provisioning: For organizations using single sign-on, new users can now be created automatically the first time they log in, reducing manual data entry for administrators. This feature is off by default, contact your client manager to activate it.
Modern Spell Checking: We've replaced our legacy spell checker with the browser's built-in version for smoother, faster, and more accurate editing across devices.
No-Click Confirmations: New pop-up messages now disappear automatically after saving changes in the administrative tools, reducing total clicks by about 30% and making the application feel faster and more responsive.
Big leaps get the headlines, but in a mature system like ours, most progress often comes from the small things. A thoughtful tweak here, a faster workflow there. Each one adds a little more polish to the experience. Over time, these refinements make the difference between software that just works and software that feels effortless.
Each of these updates comes from real customer feedback and day-to-day use. We'll continue making quiet improvements like these--small changes that add up to a smoother, more reliable experience for everyone using EchoSpan.
