Spring 2026 Update: Faster, Cleaner, Easier to Use
EchoSpan Company Blog

Over the past several months, we've continued refining the EchoSpan platform with a focus on something simple: making everyday tasks faster, clearer, and more enjoyable.
The Spring 2026 release (v7.84) of the EchoSpan tool includes a number of interface improvements and workflow enhancements across both the participant experience and the administrative tool. Some changes are subtle. Others are more noticeable. Together, they make the platform feel more modern, responsive, and easier to navigate.
Here are a few highlights from this release.
A redesigned survey experience
We've significantly refreshed the survey interface used by participants and raters. The new experience is cleaner, easier to read, and optimized for faster completion across devices.
The updated design reduces visual clutter, improves spacing and readability, and modernizes navigation throughout the survey process. The result is a smoother experience that feels lighter and more intuitive, especially for users completing longer assessments.
Faster access to administrative features
As EchoSpan has grown over the years, the administrative tool has gained a tremendous amount of flexibility and configuration depth. In version 7.84, we introduced a new admin feature search capability to help administrators quickly locate settings, tools, and configuration areas without needing to remember exactly where they live in the platform.
This dramatically reduces the time spent navigating menus and makes the system easier for both experienced administrators and newer users.
Administrative interface refinements
We also continued redesigning portions of the administrative experience to improve clarity and reduce cognitive overload.
Throughout the platform, we streamlined layouts, surfaced important settings more clearly, reduced unnecessary clicks, and replaced various inline instructional text elements with cleaner contextual guidance and tooltips where appropriate. In several areas, related settings are now grouped more logically, helping administrators configure projects more quickly and confidently.
Additional workflow improvements
Version 7.84 also introduces several practical workflow enhancements requested by clients and internal teams, including:
- Improved rater relationship configuration workflows with cleaner layout and simplified settings controls
- New dashboard options for sending self-evaluation invitations and reminders directly from the project dashboard
- Expanded upload and configuration capabilities for participant relationships and setup workflows
- New options for uploading self-evaluation item text to simplify project administration
As always, many of the best improvements are the small ones: reduced friction, cleaner workflows, and fewer moments where users have to stop and think about the software instead of the work they're trying to accomplish.
We appreciate the feedback our clients continue to provide, and we'll keep refining the platform with the same philosophy that guides every EchoSpan release: practical improvements that make the experience better every day.
