On Demand and Historical Reporting
Product Guides for EchoSpan 360-Degree Feedback
There are advanced settings that can be enabled to allow Targets and Managers to view existing reports and/or generate reports from their participant dashboards. These features are useful in situations where the Project Administrator does not feel it necessary or appropriate to be involved in the report-generation process, or where Targets are being run through the system asynchronously and there's not a set uniform reporting date for the feedback project. Note that even when the On Demand & Historical features are ON, the Project Administrator can run reports as normal from the administrative tool.
This feature is available in the Professional and Enterprise Editions of EchoSpan's 360-degree feedback tool.
To configure the On Demand & Historical features, open a feedback project and from the drop-down menu, select Setup>> Advanced Settings . Once on the Advanced Settings page, expand the "Reports" section and scroll to the "On-Demand & Historical Reports" option.
There are several options you can configure for On-Demand and Historical Reporting :
Target On/Off Switch: Turns on or off the ability for Targets to view an existing report or to view and run their own review report from their project dashboard.
Target Report Template: When a report template is selected, the user is required to use this template when generating on-demand reports. If not selected, the user can select from all available report templates when running a report.
Separate Report for Targets: When this setting is turned ON, Targets must generate their own report on-demand and are not shown any reports generated by the administrator unless they are distributed to them. This setting is useful when you want to let Targets run self-evaluation reports or other limited reports but not let them see reports used by administrators or managers.
Target Access to Past Reports: Provides the Target access to existing report files for past reviews. Select the number of review cycles that the Target will have report access for.
Target Interactive Report Template: Allows the Target access to interactive reports in addition to the standard PDF reports. Interactive reports allow the Target to view feedback results online instead of having to download a PDF file.
Manager On/Off Switch: Turns on or off the ability for Raters assigned to Managerial Rater groups to run review reports on assigned Targets from their project dashboards. Even when set to ON, on-demand reporting for managers is only accessible when the Feedback Project Phase is OFF and the Manager Reporting Project Phase is also ON. You can configure project phases from the Project drop down menu, Phases option.
Manager PDF Report Template: When a report template is selected, the user is required to use this template when generating on-demand reports. If not selected, the user can select from all available report templates when running a report.
Manager Interactive Report Template: Allows the Manager Rater access to interactive reports in addition to the standard PDF reports. Interactive reports allow the Manager to view feedback results online instead of having to download a PDF file.
Manager Access to Past Reports: Provides the Target's manager access to existing report files for past reviews. Select the number of review cycles that the manager will have report access for. Managers are defined by an uploaded employee hierarchy file.
On-Demand Reporting Completion Level: Sets the minimum number of non-self Raters that must be in a Finished status before on-demand reports can be generated. Applies to on-demand reporting for both Targets and Manager Raters.
On-Demand Reporting Response Filter: Sets the default value for the minimum number of rating(s) per non-managerial Rater group required for display of results in on-demand reports. In individual PDF reports, this setting will prevent the display of scores for a particular Rater group where the number of respondents in each group falls below the value set. Default is 0, where all scores are shown. Applies to on-demand reporting for both Targets and Manager Raters.
