Use the project autopilot to automate management of your project

Product Guides for EchoSpan 360-Degree Feedback

EchoSpan's project autopilot tool can be used to manage the events that occur during a review cycle including sending your emails, reminders, and reporting.  From the drop-down menu, select Project >> Project Autopilot to review the options.

The first section, or Settings, allows you to turn ON the Autopilot feature and choose if your emails will be released in real time or queued for you to review before they are sent. If you select the queued option the tool will act as a reminder to you to login and review the emails as you will receive an email that the messages are queued the morning of the date you select. You can choose the time of day you would like your events to be executed under the Event Execution Time option. All projects that do not have an execution time set will run at the default time of 12:10 am CT.

In the Tools section, you are able to ask the tool to automatically suggest management dates for your project based on a designated start date and desired project length.

If you know the dates for which you would like each of your events to occur, and you do not want the system to suggest them for you, you can manually fill them in and save your settings at the bottom of the page.

Please note that there are a couple of things to consider when designating dates for the Rater emails.

1. If you have a date set for Summary Rater Invitations to be sent, individual Rater emails will not be queued when admins or Targets add Raters to the system.

2. Rater reminders for the Autopilot use the Rater - "Summary Reminder" email template, which can be edited by selecting Email >> Edit Email Templates.

The Auto-pilot runs around 12:05am each day, so your events will take place at that time on the date you designate.
